The HOLD STRONG Fitness Weight Sled is an all-rounder for full-body training and ideal for heavy training sessions. For functional movements and holistic strength endurance training, you will find the Weight Sled to be the optimal product. The sled has become an integral part of the functional areas of fitness studios and athletic boxes, and was orignally designed for training team athletes, especially in American football. It is also popular among sprinters and recreational athletes for improving sprinting ability and leg strength. Sled training is extremely effective, suitable for building strength and muscle, losing weight and improving overall fitness. It is as demanding, yet easy to implement, and is therefore suitable for both professional athletes and beginners. The HOLD STRONG Weight Sled has proved itself times in numerous studios. Versatile, robust, even at the heaviest weight, durable and ergonomically perfect, the Weight Sled can be used in home and commercial gyms, cross gyms, sports clubs and by personal trainers.
The Sled Pull can be used for pushing and pulling exercises. Pulled on a rope, the athlete stops at one point and pulls the sled over a predetermined distance to his body, working the forearms, biceps, back, core and thighs in particular. A rope and harness can also be attached to the sled, so that the athlete can travel a certain distance with his back to the sled, pulling the weight behind him. For pulling, the athlete grabs two rods attached to the sled and pushes the sled over a certain distance. He can do this with angled or stretched arms. Depending on the weight, the distance can be covered whilst walking or sprinting. The sled push requires particularly strong calves, legs, buttocks, abdominal muscles, triceps, chest and shoulders.
