The X Connect Fitness Tile 20mm – Dark Grey is a premium interlocking rubber tile designed for high-impact training environments. Built for strength, durability, and ease of installation, this flooring solution is ideal for commercial gyms, functional training areas, free weight zones, and home gyms where performance and longevity matter.
The Fitness Tiles Connect range is engineered to withstand the continuous dropping of heavy free weights. An extremely dense top layer delivers outstanding impact protection, helping to protect both equipment and the subfloor beneath. Beneath this, the integrated sublayer and purpose-designed bottom structure effectively absorbs noise and vibration, while providing additional protection to the underlying screed or flooring surface.
These tiles can be installed directly over existing floor coverings, making them a practical choice for both new installations and refurbishments. The unique connector system allows for fast, secure installation without adhesives.
In addition to convenience, the connector system offers:

The Stockz patented impact bottom is specifically designed for optimal shock absorption and the reduction of impact sound. The structured pattern on the underside of the tile incorporates integrated connection holes for the connector system.
Each tile is manufactured in a single production process, during which the top layer is vulcanised directly onto the bottom layer in one step. This ensures exceptional strength, consistency, and long-term durability between all layers of the tile.

Installation
Please view the installation video on this product page for an easy guide to fitting our X-Connect tiles. The plastic connector pieces (hidden) are inserted underneath each tile to securely interlock them together, keeping them in place. The rubber tiles can easiliy be cut to size using a utility knife.
Sub-floor
The sub-floor requires to be level, firm and dry.
Cleaning
Depending on traffic, the tiles can be kept clean by a standard vacuum cleaner and damp mop. Cleaning machines can be used but should have the correct pads for rubber flooring to prevent abrasion. A pH neutral cleaner with warm water should only be used and not solvent-based detergents. Newly installed floors would benefit from a degreaser in the first few weeks.
