Overview

Following a successful collaboration at Muscleworks Bethnal Green, CYC Fitness was delighted to be invited to support Muscleworks in the development of their newest site in Southwark. The project focused on delivering a high-performance strength training environment that reflects the Muscleworks reputation for serious training and premium equipment.

Objectives

  • Equip the new Southwark facility with high-quality, plate-loaded and leverage strength machines

  • Maintain brand consistency with the Muscleworks Bethnal Green site while introducing modern equipment upgrades

  • Deliver a robust, competition-ready training space suited to advanced lifters

Our Approach

CYC Fitness worked closely with Ammar throughout the project, from equipment selection through to supply and installation. This collaborative approach ensured that every piece of equipment aligned with the vision for the gym and the expectations of its members.

Equipment Supplied & Installed

CYC Fitness supplied and installed a comprehensive range of strength equipment, including:

  • Skelcore Power Series Leverage Chest Press

  • Skelcore Power Series Shoulder Press

  • Skelcore Power Series Incline Chest Press

    • These three machines represent a modern re-design of the iconic Flex Fitness line, combining classic biomechanics with contemporary engineering.

  • Skelcore Squat Trainer

  • Skelcore Linear Back Row

  • Skelcore Precision Chest Press

To complement the machine lineup, we also supplied:

  • ROCKIT competition bumper plates for the Hammer Strength racks

  • Over 5,000kg of standard barbell cast iron plates, distributed across all plate-loaded machines

Outcome

The completed Muscleworks Southwark facility delivers a serious, no-compromise strength training environment that meets the demands of competitive and dedicated lifters alike. The blend of modernised leverage equipment, heavy-duty plate loading, and competition-grade accessories ensures longevity, performance, and a premium training experience.
