aerobis was born in Cologne in 2009 with the development of the aeroSling. Founder, Elmar Schumacher, originally designed the sling trainer for his own training. He went on to develop and market training products for functional training, for state-of-the-art training of strength, endurance, and coordination. With aerobis training equipment, optimal results can be achieved in minimal time. Workouts can be made more efficient with the focus on movement and muscle chains, instead of isolated muscles. Each individual aerobis piece has its own focal point, whilst working in complete harmony with another for a holistic approach to training.
aerobis introduces another revolutionary first for the industry with the powrlink® Sensor fitness tracker. The powrlink® dynamometer is a compact device that connects to your fitness equipment to record and visualise the force that is created during exercise. Making fitness training measurable anywhere, the powrlink® displays accurate training data and essential insights effortlessly. Time under tension and total workload can now be recorded alongside your workout automagically with powrlink®.
The powrlink® Sensor can record your suspension trainer resistance band and even rowing data, as well as training on a standard cable tower. Simply hook on the powrlink® and away you go. Force data will be continuously measured and displayed on modern iOS and Android phones or tablets. Live graphical feedback and subsequent in-depth powrlink® analysis enables you to adjust your training to reach your goals. powrlink® offers invaluable monitoring for PTs, and is the perfect motivational tool to use at home and in a commercial setting.
It’s all in the composition
In the overall physical performance history of strength, weight and reps alone don’t tell you much, unless it’s just your one-rep max. However, for the complete analysis, every single aspect needs to be considered in training. This includes time under load and total load. You can now easily measure these during your workout – automatically with the powrlink sensor dynamometer.
Machine or functional training? We can do both
powrlink sensor can record your sling, resistance or even rowing workouts, as well as your workouts on cable pull machines. Just hook your powrlink dynamometer in between and you’re good to go! Your strength data will then be continuously measured and displayed on all modern iOS and Android devices.

powrlink allows you to customize your workouts without interruption. We show you exactly how you’re completing individual exercises and how the set compares to the previous one. And because no one can evaluate a mountain of numbers that quickly by themselves, the powrlink sensor shows you a real-time graph and multiple levels that visualize exactly how close you are to your best.

We make sure the powrlink sensor is as small as possible so you can take it anywhere. It’s so compact and sturdy that it fits in any pocket, but can still withstand a load of 120 kg. Its breaking load is even much higher. Designed and manufactured in Germany.
