Revolution Personal Training Studios Ltd London, Holborn, is the latest addition to the Revolution group’s blossoming portfolio of boutique personal training studios. Situated in the heart of the West End, with easy access from Holborn and Tottenham Court Road stations, Revolution Holborn offers clients the ultimate in personal training experiences. Home to some of the best trainers in the industry using tried-and-tested training and nutritional programming, clients can expect to get the best results they’ve ever had physically, and feel part of the Revolution family and lifestyle.
Revolution Personal Training Studios was launched in 2005 by brothers Rob and John Grim and their close friend Giuseppe Di Credico. They set up their first gym in the prestigious Business Design Centre in Angel, Islington. Owners of the new Holborn branch, Alex Giannini and Joe Bedford, were successful PTs of the Revolution Angel branch and were inspired to open up their own studio as part of the Revolution PTS franchise opportunity.
The Brief
CYC, having led 3 other studio kit outs and refurbishments, was assigned to design and equip the new 190 square metre site in Holborn. Our prime objective was to maximise all available space, ensuring that the equipment and facility mirrored the other Revolution PTS studios. It was important to incorporate the custom colours and style of the other Revolution sites, whilst at the same time give Holborn it's own identity and flair.
The Result
Revolution PTS opted for bespoke UK manufactured squat racks, lifting platforms, a compact storage solution, adjustable high/low pulley, lateral pulldown and cable crossover. The equipment was manufactured in custom red and black for Revolution, with exclusive branding on the upholstery and frame shrouds. Gym Gear strength equipment includes 4 adjustable benches and 45 degree leg press, again in red and black and embroidery branded. A Concept 2 rower, T98 treadmill and M Sport indoor cycle were also supplied. Grey wood effect vinyl flooring beautifully complements the vibrant blue 12m x 1.5m indoor speed track for prowler, plyometric work and sprinting, and a comprehensive range of free weights and accessories from Gym Gear and Reebok completes this exciting installation.
