Reshaping fitness in times of COVID-19

Reshape, restyle, rebirth. 

At CYC we would like to convey our most sincere thanks to our customers for their support in these challenging times. Our decision to continue to strive to meet their needs was daunting at the start, to say the least. However, we are satisfied that flexibility and suitable modifications are enabling us to continue supplying the most innovative fitness equipment on the market, albeit with longer lead times.

COVID-19 has brought about a whole new way of life, and a different way of doing business. We obviously miss the face-to-face contact with our suppliers and clients, and it has been disheartening to have halted most of our large gym installation projects, but we have seen changing trends and encouraging growth in the home fitness sphere that will prepare us for the remainder of 2020 and the longer term.

We anticipate that as we slowly emerge from lockdown, and head back to the communal gym, there will be a quite different fitness ambiance to allow for appropriate distancing. Our design work will almost certainly involve implementing new measures, with safeguarding as the highest priority. Just as supermarket managers have had to adapt, so too will gym operators. It will be testing in the beginning, but change will give rise to inspirational ideas and creative restyling.

COVID-19 has given us here at CYC time to reflect, research and reshape. We have some exciting new products and designs coming your way, and are optimistic for the future. By heeding health guidelines and listening to our clients, we wish to join you in safer, more tranquil times to embrace the rebirth of the fitness community.
